Why Hannah Waddingham Almost Passed On ‘Ted Lasso’ Role

Access Hollywood’s Zuri Hall spoke to Hannah Waddingham who won the Emmy for her role in “Ted Lasso.” The actress shared why she almost didn’t audition due to her daughter’s illness. “I came over here and I said to Jason when we’d been hanging for a while, ‘Where are you going to shoot this?’ And he said, ‘Uhh, Richmond.’ She continued, “Richmond, like half an hour from my house? I thought I’m going to rugby tackle anyone to the ground if they think they’re having this part over me.”
