Woman Who Fell In Love With Death Row Inmate Says They’re Still In Love 23 Years Later
It’s been nearly a decade since Damien Echols was freed after being wrongly sentenced to death in 1994 for the West Memphis murders of three young boys, and now, Damien and his wife Lorri David Echols are looking back on how they found love behind bars. Lorri got candid with Access Hollywood host Mario Lopez about how she fell for her future husband while watching the 1996 documentary “Paradise Lost: The Child Murders at Robin Hood Hills” about Damien’s controversial case. The documentary’s filmmaker, Joe Berlinger, also opened up to Access Hollywood about debunking the stereotypes of a killer.
