The 31-year-old singer teased his newest single “Alienated,” which drops April 12, on ‘X’ ahead of his upcoming album, “Room Under the Stairs,“set to be released May 17. In a personal behind-the-scenes video, Zayn reveals he wrote “Alienated” first, sharing, “That kind of helped me mold and shape the sound even for like, the way I wanted to approach the sound of my whole voice and the sonic sound of everything else, like the guitars.”
