‘American Pie’s’ Chris Klein Arrested On Suspicion Of DUI

Actor Chris Klein – best known for his work in the “American Pie” movies – was arrested on suspicion of DUI early Wednesday morning, Access Hollywood has confirmed.

According to California Highway Patrol, the 31-year-old actor was stopped on the 101 freeway in LA at 3:13 AM after being observed weaving in and out of traffic lanes.

Authorities told Access that Klein’s blood alcohol level was almost three times the legal limit of .08 in Calif.

The actor was booked and released on his own recognizance. He had his dog in the car at the time.

A rep for Klein was not immediately available for comment when contacted by Access.

The actor was previously arrested and charged with one misdemeanor count of DUI in 2005 after being pulled over in San Diego County. Klein pled guilty and was sentenced to five years probation.

The actor made headlines last month when his reported audition tape for the big screen version of “Mamma Mia!” surfaced online. The audition tape was quickly removed, but the actor poked fun at himself in a parody video of the incident on FunnyOrDie.com.
