Angelina Jolie: My Kids Are ‘Very Aware That Nothing’s Missing’ Not Being Married To Brad Pitt

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are constantly asked if they’ll ever marry – but according to the star, her six children with Brad Pitt are fine with their unconventional partnership.

“I think it would be hard to say, ‘No’ to the kids,” the “Salt” star said in an interview on ABC’s “Good Morning America” in an excerpt from a “Nightline” interview airing on Monday night, when asked if she would wed Brad if their children asked.

The 35-year-old actress noted their kids don’t inquire about their marital status.

“They’re not asking,” she said. “They are very aware that nothing’s missing.”

Angelina also said the idea of adding another child to their family is daunting – but not impossible.

“There’s no plans at the moment for more,” she explained. “But [we] always talk about it. We’re always open. You know? We kind of joke about it, ‘cause in the morning we’re so tired… we always have this thing kind of first thing in the morning where we’re really, really tired. And we always look at each other and wonder like, Are we ever gonna get sleep?’ And then we joke about sleep. … But yet, we still love the idea of having more children.”

When it comes to laying down the law with the kids – Angelina said Brad’s better with the boys and she tends to work well with their girls.

“I think I’m better at disciplining the girls. And he’s better at disciplining the boys,” Angelina explained. “We kind of made a plan early on that we believe that you can’t be good cop/bad cop. That you have to back each other no matter what! We are working together. You cannot break us.”

Brad and Angelina might be two of Hollywood’s biggest stars, but at home they’re slinging food and drink for a herd of hungry customers.

“We’re like bartenders. We’re like waiters,” she said describing a morning with their six kids. “But we still, I think, are able to do it because we manage to have a great laugh. We do it together, and we find fun in it, and because of that, it doesn’t matter if you don’t get sleep. It’s an honor to take care of them.”
