Avril Lavigne’s Music Return Not Complicated

(November 9, 2006) — Canadian pop rocker Avril Lavigne is set to release “Keep Holding On” her first new music since 2004’s “Under My Skin,” later this month.Hailing from the film ‘Eragon,’ (due December 15th) a fantasy flick which stars Jeremy Irons, Robert Carlyle and John Malkovich, the track will originally be issued digitally on November 28. Two weeks later, on December 12, the song will appear as part of the film’s soundtrack. A cut from Welsh singer Jem, the artist who performed the original ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ theme also appears on the soundtrack.

Her return to music follows a two year break in which the singer took on film roles in animated feature ‘Over the Hedge’ and one in upcoming flick ‘Fast Food Nation.’
