Britney Spears In V Magazine, Calls ‘Femme Fatale’ The Best Album I Have Ever Made’

Don’t hold it against her! Britney Spears gave an interview in the current issue of V Magazine talking about her new album “Femme Fatale,” life in the spotlight and what’s been on her iPod lately (which may surprise you… read below!)

“I think ‘Femme Fatale’ speaks for itself,” Britney said, noting that she spent almost two years recording it. “I think it’s the best album I have ever made.”

According to Britney, “Femme Fatale” is a “fierce dance record” to play while getting ready for a night on the town. “It’s definitely my edgiest and most mature sound yet,” she said.

Fans can look forward to the release of “Femme Fatale” on March 29. As for Britney’s favorite song on the album, she named “On the Rocks” because “it sounds so different from anything I have ever heard.”

Wondering what’s been in Britney’s personal iPod lately? She’s a fan of the Black Eyed Peas. “They always put me in a good mood,” she noted.

She also shows love to her old pal from “The Mickey Mouse Club” days, Christina Aguilera, saying that she loves her song with Nicki Minaj “Woo Hoo.”

Britney also opened up about her home life with her sons, Sean Preston, 5, and Jayden James, 4.

“I love to cook, especially for my boys. I also make a mean southern sweet tea from a recipe my mom passed on to me,” she said.

Aside from being passionate about being a mom, she also loves her fans and is thankful for them.

“I love making new music for my fans, I love performing for my fans, and most importantly, I love my fans,” she said. “I am so lucky to have their support. They drive me.”

Throughout the past decade, Britney’s had many ups and downs. She credits staying true to herself as her secret to her success, and said “it’s a really important lesson that took me a long time to learn.”

Despite her past, there’s one thing that she wants her fans to know about her today:

“The bitch is back and better than ever!” she declared.
