Christina Ricci will make her Broadway debut in Donald Margulies’ “Time Stands Still” when the Tony-nominated play resumes performances in September.
The 30-year-old actress will join previously announced original cast members Laura Linney, Brian d’Arcy James and Eric Bogosian. Producers made the announcement Thursday.
“Time Stands Still” has two Tony nominations: best play and best actress for Linney.
The play had a limited nonprofit engagement this spring at the Manhattan Theatre Club. It will resume performances Sept. 23 at a Shubert theater to be announced.
Ricci’s screen credits include “The Addams Family,” ‘‘The Ice Storm” and “The Opposite of Sex.”
Tony winners will be announced June 13.
