“Dancing with the Stars” isn’t announcing its full Season 16 cast until Tuesday, but ABC gave viewers one name on Sunday night – Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Jacoby Jones.
In a commercial, which aired during the Oscars telecast on Sunday night, ABC revealed Jacoby was part of the cast.
It was also confirmed on the official “DWTS” Twitter account.
“ICYMI: Superbowl champ Jacoby Jones to be on Dancing with the Stars! Watch @GMA for more on Tuesday! #GMADanceParty,” read a post on the show’s Twitter page.
The 28-year-old wide receiver – who was one of the heroes of the 2013 Super Bowl – hails from New Orleans.
In related “DWTS,” as Access Hollywood reported over the weekend, pro dancer Derek Hough Tweeted he is returning for the show’s sixteenth season. Meanwhile, a source told Access Hollywood Maksim Chmerkovskiy will not return to the show.
