Her “Grey’s Anatomy” character might be struggling over the decision to have a baby, but Jessica Capshaw couldn’t be happier about adding to her real-life brood.
Capshaw, who plays Dr. Arizona Robbins on the ABC medical drama, is expecting her second child with husband Christopher Gavigan, Access Hollywood has confirmed.
“They are thrilled,” a rep for the actress told Access.
In recent episodes of “Grey’s,” Capshaw’s character and her on-screen girlfriend, Callie Torres (Sara Ramirez), are debating whether or not to bring a child into their relationship.
Capshaw, 33, and Gavigan – the CEO of Healthy Child, Healthy World — have a 2-year-old son, Luke.
The couple tied the knot in May 2004 after getting engaged the year before.
Capshaw is the daughter of actress Kate Capshaw and the stepdaughter of producer/director Steven Spielberg.
