Jay Z Defends Tidal In Twitter Rant: ‘Give Us A Chance’

Jay Z launched his new music streaming service, Tidal, last month with much fanfare, but the buzz seemed to fizzle out quickly.

The normally Twitter-quiet music mogul took to the social media platform on Sunday to set the record straight about Tidal’s success to date in a rant he dubbed a “stream of consciousness.”

Jay encouraged fans to stick with Tidal, and said they are operating from a place of positivity, unlike some of their competitors.

The rapper also shot down arguments that the membership-based streaming service aims to add to the existing wealth of greedy artists.

Hov finished his Tweetfest with a bit of humor.

Tidal launched on March 30 with a ton of star power on board, including Beyonce, Madonna, Jason Aldean, Rihanna, Chris Martin, Kanye West and more.
