Has the budding romance between John Mayer and Jessica Simpson found its thorn?
As you can see from these pics, the couple that once seemed inseparable was in fact quite separated yesterday, partying in completely different time zones.
Jessica is pictured at the Nike party in Cannes last night at the Hotel due Cap, where she looked to be having a thrilling time trying not to get caught in hoop earrings that seemingly threatened to engulf her face. Earlier in the day, she was spotted hanging around Cannes with papa Joe Simpson and hairdresser to the stars Ken Paves.
When Access Hollywood spoke with Jessica on Friday in Cannes, we asked her about the rumors of the rocky romance.
“Are you and John still friends?” Access asked her.
“I’m going to keep my private life private, but I am very happy,” she said.
Across the pond, Mayer engaged in a little bro-mance or at least some bro-camaraderie in New York City. One reason Mayer might not look as depressed? Supporting Mayer on the left is Stereo club owner Michael Satsky, while on his right with the comedic tongue placement? Its funnyman Sherrod Small.
PerezHilton.com is reporting a well placed source informed the gossip blogger that the duo, which he affectionately nicknamed Fugs n Jugs, ended their relationship last weekend.
