“The Bachelorette’s” latest season introduced Kaitlyn Bristowe to the man she is planning to marry.
On Monday night, on “After the Final Rose,” Kaitlyn and her new fiance, Shawn Booth, told Chris Harrison about their plans for the future.
Kaitlyn said she can’t wait to start living life, “being around family, being around people that we love, being around people that love us.”

Shawn told Chris he is looking forward to being able to stand up for his fiancee.
“The best thing that can happen tomorrow morning when I wake up is that I can stand up for my girl and defend her now. … This girl is the strongest woman I’ve ever met in my entire life,” he said.
“The hardest part was having to sit back and not tell anybody that I’m with her and watch some of the stuff that she’s had to go through — this unfair cyberbullying and all that nonsense,” he continued. “But now I can finally just stand right next to her and stick up for her because she doesn’t deserve any of that.”
