On Monday night, the last episode of “Kate Plus 8” aired on TLC and the exiting reality show mom told Access Hollywood that her youngsters had a lot of questions about their future when they learned their show had been canceled.
”[They asked], ‘Are we still going to be able to live here in our house? And are we still going to be able to go to our school?’” Kate recounted to Access. “They go to private school… All of those things are huge privileges, and I wasn’t ready for those questions, because I was asking myself those same things behind the scenes.”
Kate, a former nurse, doesn’t believe going back to nursing will cut it, and she’s hoping she can have a future in television.
“I would love to go forward with a TV career,” she said. “I feel very comfortable in this role.”
Those who want to keep up on the brood can log on to KatePlusMy8.com, and beyond the website, Kate said another reality television show starring her kids isn’t out of the question.
“Never say never,” Kate told Access. “I’m gonna say that. There’s a lot of people out there that care about them, and for me to say, ‘No, you’ll never see them again?’ I can’t say that.”
