Lisa Kudrow Heads To ‘Therapy’

Former “Friends” star Lisa Kudrow is back behind the sitcom wheel again.

Kudrow’s new series, “Web Therapy,” available on car maker Lexus’ new online channel L Studio, premiered earlier today.

The series finds Kudrow playing Fiona Wallice, a quirky counselor who conducts sessions with her equally quirky patients (including a former boyfriend) via the Internet. According to The Hollywood Reporter, guest stars Jane Lynch (“Best In Show”), Rashida Jones (“The Office) and Tim Bagley (“Will & Grace”) will play some of Fiona’s patients.

“This is the kind of idea that’s just meant for the Web,” Kudrow, who wrote and produced “Web Therapy” with Dan Bucatinsky, told The Hollywood Reporter.

Famke Janssen, who last played transsexual seductress Ava Moore on “Nip/Tuck,” is also part of the L Studio fold. She co-stars in upcoming L Studio series “Puppy Love,” which was penned for the online network by “Sex and the City” writer Amy B. Harris. “Puppy Love” has a reported 40 episodes planned.
