MTV, Lauren Conrad Offer Support For ‘Hills’ Producer Following Claims He Sexually Harassed Heidi Montag

MTV and Lauren Conrad are standing up for “Hills” creator Adam DiVello, following claims by unnamed sources that Heidi Montag has alleged that she was sexually harassed by the executive producer.

Sources told Perez Hilton that Montag is claiming to people that she was groped by DiVello, following the 10 plastic surgery procedures she underwent last year to change her figure and her face. Perez reported that the sources claimed that DiVello allegedly touched Montag’s “a** cheeks and lower back.”

Conrad, who “The Hills” was built around before she departed the reality show at the end of Season 5, issued a statement to Access Hollywood on Wednesday in support of DiVello.

“Similar to most of my fellow MTV cast mates, I am in utter shock at the allegations made against Adam DiVello,” she said in her statement. “Not only are they completely absurd but they are 100% without merit. Adam is a true professional and a wonderful person to work for.”

Additionally, MTV stood by the producer as well.

“We have looked into this matter and the allegations made against Adam DiVello are completely false and without merit,” the network said in a statement. “Adam not only created ‘The Hills’ and ‘The City,’ launching the careers of several cast members, but has worked diligently to maintain a respectful and appropriate production environment.”

Lo Bosworth, another “Hills” star spoke out over the story on Twitter.

“I’ll repeat it: no one is/has ever been assaulted during filming of our show. hey spiedi, do you know the definition of slander? NOT OKAY,” she wrote.

Reps for Montag and DiVello did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Access Hollywood.
