“Justin Bruening, who stars in the upcoming NBC movie ‘Knight Rider,‘
experienced a knee injury Friday afternoon while filming a fight scene,” a NBC

treated and released. He’s in good spirits and is looking forward to returning
to work soon.”

Bruening has been filming the two-hour movie, based on original series that
launched David Hasselhoff to stardom.

The new version of the trademark “Knight Rider” KITT car was unveiled on
NBC’s Burbank lot last week.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, David Hasselhoff will
appear in the new movie, set to premiere in February, in his original role of
Michael Knight.

The movie stars Deanna Russo, as Sarah Graiman, the daughter of the man who
invented the original KITT car. Justin Bruening stars as Mike Tracer, Sarah’s
childhood best friend. Sarah recruits Mike to help search for her missing father
with the help of the famous talking car. KITT, the talking super car, will be
voiced by funnyman Will Arnett of “30 Rock,” “Arrested Development” and “Blades
of Glory” fame.

Bruening previously starred as Jamie Martin, alongside Susan Lucci and
Cameron Mathison, in ABC’s long-running soap, “All My Children.”
