ROLL CALL: Which Avengers Star Won’t Return For Sequel?

Your Daily Dispatch of Celebrity Shenanigans

No More Loki?: Tom Hiddleston’s Loki has tormented Earth’s Mightiest Heroes two times now and will do it again in “Thor: The Dark World,” but don’t expect to see the Asgardian getting into more trouble in the upcoming “The Avengers 2.” During a chat with Empire, director/writer Joss Whedon was asked about Loki’s use of the British slang “quim” (which is used to describe a woman’s anatomy) while he was taunting Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow in “The Avengers” and Joss let some casting news slip. “Everyone is going to be looking for the Loki-Hulk smash moment and you’ll be looking for [a quim moment],” Joss told the mag.” “First of all, imitating what I did before is the surest way to do it not as well. Second of all, Loki’s not there to say those terrible things. Although I do think we should bring the word back, not as an insult, it’s just a nice word.” So with Loki out, does this mean Thanos (who was seen during the credits sequence) is the villain for the upcoming movie?
