Selena Gomez checked into rehab last month, Access Hollywood has confirmed.
The 21-year-old spent time at an Arizona facility that specializes in treatment for young patients for a variety of reasons, but her rep stressed she was not seeking help for drugs or alcohol.
“Selena voluntarily spent time at Meadows but not for substance abuse,” a rep for the star told Access.

Selena’s rehab stint comes after the news she canceled a leg of her “Stars Dance” tour that included Australia, Japan, China, Malaysia, Singapore and the Philippines.
“My fans are so important to me and I would never want to disappoint them. But it has become clear to me and those close to me that after many years of putting my work first, I need to spend some time on myself in order to be the best person I can be,” she said in a statement to Access in December, upon canceling her tour.
