UPDATED: It’s A Girl For Piers Morgan, Wife

Piers Morgan may have left “America’s Got Talent,” but he has plenty on his plate in addition to his CNN show – his wife, Celia Walden, just gave birth to a baby girl.

“It’s true. I’ve become a dad for the 4th time, to a baby girl called Elise,” he Tweeted. “She’s absurdly beautiful, and utterly adorable.

“PS She arrived just after Arsenal beat Borussia Dortmund, and her first words were: ‘I love @Persie_Official !’ #JuniorGoonerPower,” he added, using the Twitter handle for Robert van Persie, who plays for Piers’ favorite soccer team.

When congratulated on the baby news by another Arsenal player via Twitter, Piers said he wasn’t quite ready for diaper duty.

“May need some nappy-changing tips, bit out of practice!” he wrote.

He also noted baby Elise is, “camera-ready.”

According to Britain’s Daily Mail, which first reported the news, the baby was born at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, the same location stars including Victoria and David Beckham and Nicole Richie and Joel Madden have had babies.

This is the first child for the couple, who married in June 2010.

Piers has three children from a previous marriage.
