Food Network star Anne Burrell’s death has left her fans and friends stunned. The beloved chef died at the age of 55 on June 17 at her home in Brooklyn, New York, according to People. Now her colleagues are paying tribute on social media. “Oh Anne-you are so loved and you will be so missed,” Sandra Lee wrote on Instagram. “You were the next generation of light in the culinary Food Network world. We all adore you and will forever remember your quick wit, sassy drive, determined nature, and magical laughter,” she added. Food Network star Robert Irvine also shared a tribute on X, writing in part, “I am stunned and deeply saddened by the news of the passing of Anne Burrell.” He then looked back at his time working with Anne on their Food Network show “Worst Cooks in America” and how they ultimately became friends. “Outside of ‘Worst Cooks’ I came to know her as a generous and supportive colleague and an even better friend,” he wrote. Wells Adams, who was a contestant on “Worst Cooks in America,” also sent his condolences on his Instagram Story writing, “I just heard about the passing of Anne Burrell. I learned so much from you on Worst Cooks. I know you’ll be cooking up a storm in heaven. RIP.”
