Zendaya Explains Why She’s Wearing 2015 Oscars Wedding Gown To ‘The Drama’ Premiere

Zendaya is taking method dressing to the next level! In honor of her film, “The Drama” which takes place around a wedding, the 29-year-old actress is giving a nod to the saying, “something old, something borrowed, something new,” by wearing her 2015 Academy Awards white gown to the premiere. “This something old is from a very important look in my red carpet history, but I wore this look to the Oscars when I was 18-year-old,” she told Access Hollywood’s Zuri Hall. “It was a very important moment for myself, for my family, for my community and it just felt right to bring it back out and it happened to also be a wedding dress, so it was meant to be,” she added. The actress also revealed her wedding dos and don’ts and gushed over working with Robert Pattinson on the film. “The Drama” hits theaters April 3.
