The 21-year-old star, who shot to fame for her role on “Modern Family,” tried her hand at dark drama with a guest performance on “Law & Order: SVU.” For Ariel’s “SVU” debut, the actress rocked a radically different hair color and got to touch on themes she could never on the ABC comedy. “It was a challenge for me in many ways, both personally and professionally.
