On Monday, the 38-year-old singer told a topless protester who crashed the stage while she was presenting to “get the f–k off.” Simu Liu, who was hosting the Canadian music award show, praised Avril for how she handled the situation. Not long after confronting the protestor, the “Sk8r Boi” singer won the TikTok Juno Fan Choice Award and she joked with the audience, saying not to “try anything” during her acceptance speech.
