Beyoncé’s Renaissance tour is heading to the big screen! On Oct. 2, the 42-year-old music icon posted the first trailer for an upcoming movie that will take fans behind the scenes of her blockbuster concert run. According to a press release, “Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé” documents the acclaimed phenomenon from its early creative process to opening night in Stockholm through the final stop in Kansas City, Mo. The film is said to be “about Beyoncé’s intention, hard work, involvement in every aspect of the production, her creative mind and purpose to create her legacy, and master her craft” and how the tour “created a sanctuary for freedom, and shared joy, for more than 2.7 million fans.” Beyoncé also shared the exciting trailer on Instagram, captioning her post: “Be careful what you ask for, ‘cause I just might comply.” “Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé” will hit theaters on Dec. 1 in the U.S., Canada and Mexico.
