Bill Geddie, ‘The View’ Co-Creator & Barbara Walters’ Producer, Dead At 68
Hollywood is mourning the death of legendary TV producer Bill Geddie, who died at age 68. On Friday, his family told Variety that Bill died of coronary-related factors. The late producer co-created “The View” with Barbara Walters and served as its executive producer for 17 years. Following the news of his passing, the famed talked show released a heartwarming statement on its Twitter account. “It’s with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of ‘The View’ co-creator and one of television’s most well-respected producers, Bill Geddie…Our love goes out to his wife Barbara and their two daughters, Allison and Lauren,” the statement read in part.
