Brian Austin Green Slams ‘DWTS’ For Excluding Fiancée Sharna Burgess From Len Goodman Tribute
Brian Austin Green is defending his fiancée Sharna Burgess. The “Beverly Hills 90210” actor took to Instagram to criticize “Dancing with The Stars” for excluding the former pro dancer from Tuesday night’s tribute to late judge, Len Goodman. “I can’t begin to tell you how [disappointed] I was for @sharnaburgess to not be invited for the tribute last night. It’s disappointing as well that none of her “family in the ballroom” stuck up for her or spoke out. She’s an incredible soul and has always been a friend to everyone. She deserved better. #familystickstogether,” Brian wrote on Instagram. He captioned the text post, “She wasn’t even invited to sit in the stands and watch. Shame on that group of people. Kindness is an action, and so is love @cherylburke should have been there as well.” On the show’s most recent episode, friends, family, pros, and former pros united to remember to the late star in a moving tribute that left everyone in tears. During the emotional night on the show, Val Chmerkovskiy and his wife Jenna Johnson choreographed a special dance to honor Len, bringing 12 pro couples to the dance floor for the occasion. Sharna, who competed with her soon-to-be husband in September 2021 after meeting in 2020, reacted to the “Desperate Housewives” star’s poignant remarks, addressing the fact that she as missing from the tribute and this season all together in a length Instagram stories post. “MY MAN THAT LOVES MÉ DEEPLY AND HAS LISTENED TO ME SHARE AND CRY HAD ENOUGH AND SHARED HIS FRUSTRATION. HE LIKE ME. JUST DIDN T UNDERSTAND WHY. I LOVE HIM FOR WANTING TO DEFEND ME EVEN THOUGH HE DIDNT NEED TO,” she wrote in part.
