Britney Spears Recalls ‘The Notebook’ Audition & Turning Down ‘Chicago’ Role In New Memoir
Britney Spears is looking back on her acting past in her new memoir “The Woman in Me.” The “Hold Me Closer” songstress writes about auditioning for the role of Allie in “The Notebook,” which ultimately went to Rachel McAdams. She also reveals she was approached about a role in the 2002 movie musical “Chicago” and in hindsight wishes she’d taken the job. “The Woman in Me” is available now.
