Carrie Underwood Stuns With ‘Ghost Story’ Aerial Performance At 2022 CMT Music Awards

Carrie Underwood believed she could fly and she did! The 39-year-old country superstar wowed the crowd at the 2022 CMT Music Awards on Monday with some impressive aerial acrobatics as she performed her new single, “Ghost Story.” Carrie wore a glittering bodysuit with a long, purple cape and she began her performance with both feet on the ground, but towards the end of the song, she hooked her arms onto silk and spun gracefully as she was lifted into the air, all while still singing.
