Cuban Reggaeton Star El Taiger Dies At 37 A Week After Being Found Shot In the Head In Miami

Cuban artist Jose Manuel Carbajal Zaldivar, best known as El Taiger, has died one week after being found shot in the head. His family confirmed his passing in a statement shared to the musician’s Instagram stories. According to local reports, police found El Taiger in an SUV with a gunshot wound on Thursday, Oct. 3. He died from his injuries seven days later. Miami police are said to be looking to speak with a person of interest in the case, 49-year-old Damian Valdez-Galloso. As of Oct. 11, no arrests have been made. El Taiger was 37.
