Cynthia Erivo Opens 99th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade With Powerful Performance After Losing Voice
Fresh off her “Wicked” press tour, Cynthia Erivo is back on center stage! On Thursday, Nov. 27, the Tony winner opened the 99th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade with a powerful performance of Nina Simone’s, “Feeling Good.” Afterwards, the actress cut the parade’s ribbon alongside a few of the Radio City Rockettes as she announced, “Now, let’s have a parade!” Erivo’s performance comes days after she lost her voice during the end of the “Wicked: For Good” promotional tour.
