On Thursday, Nov. 27, the Tony winner opened the 99th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade with a powerful performance of Nina Simone’s, “Feeling Good.” Afterwards, the actress cut the parade’s ribbon alongside a few of the Radio City Rockettes as she announced, “Now, let’s have a parade!” Erivo’s performance comes days after she lost her voice during the end of the “Wicked: For Good” promotional tour.
