Donald Trump Says He Wants To ‘Try To Get To Heaven’: ‘I’m Hearing That I’m Not Doing Well’

Donald Trump is revealing what he claims is his motivation behind attempting to broker a peace deal between Russia and Ukraine. The 79-year-old President of the United States dialed in for an interview with “Fox & Friends” on Aug. 19 and explained why he is taking action to end the war with Ukraine. “If I can save 7,000 people a week from being killed, I think that’s pretty– I want to try to get to heaven if possible,” he said on the phone call. “I’m hearing that I’m not doing well. I am really at the bottom of the totem pole. But if I can get to heaven, this will be one of the reasons,” he added. Trump is currently trying to push for a peace deal between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, whose countries have been in war for more than three years. The conflict started when Russia invaded Ukraine on Feb. 24, 2022.
