Josie Grossie is back! Drew Barrymore reprised her iconic “Never Been Kissed” character for the 2023 MTV Movie & TV Awards on Sunday, crashing memorable scenes from the year’s biggest films and shows including “Nope” and “White Lotus,” and she delivered serious moves while spoofing “M3GAN” and even went toe-to-toe with Jenna Ortega on the “Wednesday” dance floor! Drew’s pre-recorded appearance comes after she bowed out of her official hosting gig earlier this week in support of the Hollywood writers’ strike. MTV also canceled the red carpet and opted out of producing a live show in light of Drew’s announcement, but fans can look forward to seeing her – and maybe Josie, too! – take the stage at next year’s awards.
