Dwayne Johnson Recalls ‘Shift & Click Moment’ When He Became ‘The Rock’: I Was ‘Able To Be Myself’

On this season of “Young Rock,” the NBC sitcom loosely based on Dwayne Johnson’s life, viewers will get to see the beginning of Dwayne’s persona as “The Rock.” The actor told Access Hollywood, “We all look for that in life, where we shift into something and it clicks, and it feels perfect, and you feel powerful and grounded and anchored. And that’s what happened when I became ‘The Rock,’ where I was finally able to be myself.” Access guest correspondent Emily Orozco also visited the set of “Young Rock” and spoke to actors Adrian Groulx, Bradley Constant and Uli Latukefu – who play The Rock at different ages – about their roles and the upcoming season. Season 3 of “Young Rock” premieres Nov. 4 at 8:30/7:30c on NBC.
