Eric McCormack Reflects On The Impact ‘Will & Grace’ Had On LGBTQ+ Community
Eric McCormack is looking back at the impact “Will & Grace” had on the LGBTQ+ community. “Not realizing that not only were people that perhaps don’t know a lot of gay people watching the show, but their kids were over their shoulder passing through the living room going ‘huh?’” he told Access Hollywood. “Those are the kids I’ve heard from over the years. The kids who are now in their 20s or 30s who saw their parents, who they were terrified of coming out to, laughing, and enjoying these characters and accepting them.” The Emmy winner also revealed his favorite guest stars on the hit sitcom. “Will & Grace” is celebrating its 25th anniversary with an immersive exhibit at the Paley Museum through July 9.
