Eugene & Dan Levy Roast Each Other In Adorable Father-Son Monologue At 2024 Emmy Awards

Eugene and Dan Levy got plenty of laughs during their opening monologue at the 76th Annual Emmy Awards. The father-son duo opened up the show, poking fun at the A-listers who were being honored by the Television Academy. “Welcome, everybody, to the 76th Emmy Awards. Yeah. Also known as broadcast TV’s biggest night for honoring movie stars on streaming services,” said Dan at the start of the monologue. The two went on to roast “The Bear” for its controversial consideration in the comedy category. The two also adorably poked fun at each other. The crowd broke out in laughter after Eugene said playing his son’s father in their show “Schitt’s Creek” was his most rewarding father role because it won him his first acting Emmy.
