The A-lister wowed alongside wife Amal Clooney at the world premiere of his film “Jay Kelly” on Aug. 28, marking his return to the Venice Film Festival after bowing out of scheduled events the previous day due to his illness. George and Amal arrived in the Italian city earlier in the week, but the actor’s rep confirmed in a statement that he “had to scale back” planned activities on doctor’s orders to rest up. Though George wasn’t present for the movie’s press conference or a reported cast dinner, he appeared in good spirits on the red carpet, sporting an Armani tux as Amal stunned in a glam magenta gown.
