Grimes was shining in her futuristic silver dress for the 2021 Met Gala, but it was her accessories that stole the show. The Canadian singer wore an Iris Van Herpen dress and rocked a metal mask while carrying a real sword to the event. She explained that her look was inspired by the upcoming movie “Dune.” Grimes’ most notable accessory for the night was the medieval sword she carried on the red carpet which was cast from a Colt AR-15A3.
