Hear Carrie Underwood Sing A Cappella At Donald Trump’s Inauguration After Music Fails
Carrie Underwood had to improvise during her performance at President Donald Trump’s inauguration on Jan. 20. The country star had to sing “America the Beautiful” a cappella because her music appeared to fail. After Carrie was introduced by announcers, there was a long silence as she waited for the music to begin. But after waiting for about a minute, she decided to sing without music. “If you know the words, help me out here,” Carrie told the audience before beginning to sing. Once she finished her rendition, former President Joe Biden appeared to praise her, reportedly saying “great job.”
