Hoda Kotb Shares Story Of Telling Daughters She Was Leaving NBC

Hoda Kotb is reflecting on her time at NBC and her future after announcing she is leaving the Today show. The TV presenter appeared on the Oct. 7 episode of “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” She recalled her first day and struggling to get in the building when a tour group from New Orleans recognized her and gave her words of encouragement. She says they told her, “‘You hold your head up, hold your head. You go in there, you show them.’ And I remember I was like, ‘oh my God.I can do it,’ Hoda told Jimmy. The 60-year-old also says she is looking forward to spending more time with her daughters in this next chapter.
