In a new interview with Access Hollywood the pair, who play Colin and Benedict Bridgerton recalled the first time they met Simone Ashley. “It was her birthday I think…Johnny had got her a bottle of champagne for her birthday and we all just shared it at this table and had a toast to her birthday it was so lovely,” Newton said. “Bridgerton” season 2 is out now on Netflix.
