Could Leonardo DiCaprio join the ‘Avatar’ franchise? James Cameron says he would be down for it. Access Hollywood’s Scott Evans spoke to the ‘Avatar’ director on the red carpet at the 2023 Critics Choice Awards and he reacted to the idea of his former “Titanic” star joining the cast. “I told Kate [Winslet] to call Leo. She gets to him quicker than I do,” he joked. “There is the environmental theme, right? So that might appeal to him.” James then held up a his hand miming that he was calling Leo.
