Jessica Simpson performed live for the first time in 15 years during the “American Idol” season finale on Sunday. The songstress joined former contestant Josh King to sing her 2005 hit “These Boots Are Made for Walking” along with a tease of her new song “Blame Me.” Jessica spoke to Access Hollywood following her performance, “My kids are back at home and Face Timing me and they’ve never seen me perform on TV live so it’s a big moment and ‘Idol’ gave me that so it’s a dream. I’m right there with the contestants.” The 44-year-old shared some advice for “American Idol” winner Jamal Roberts and revealed details about her upcoming role in Ryan Murphy’s Hulu series “All’s Fair.”
