Ali, a California native and contestant on Monday night’s episode, took the stage to belt out her own rendition of “Killing Me Softly With His Song,” later revealing she was born deaf. “Any sort of adversity that you’ve had in your life, you are just jumping hurdles here and it’s incredible to watch,” Niall said.
