Luke Bryan Admits He Got ‘Emotionally Overwhelmed’ During ‘American Idol’ Finale

Luke Bryan isn’t afraid to wear his heart on his sleeve! Following the “American Idol” finale on Sunday night, the country star reflected on what a standout this season was and why he felt it was also a high point in his personal experience on the show. “I think the season has been my best since being a part of, since ABC brought us in and it’s just been a really special season for us. Just walking around everyday life, having people walk up to me, complimenting what the show is doing this year,” Luke said. “I think it’s a big testament to everybody involved, from Ryan, and me, Lionel and Katy, to all the people behind the scenes. And then the contestants being very talented, steering the ship.”
