Meghan Trainor Reveals Details About Son Riley’s ‘Terrifying’ Birth: ‘He Didn’t Cry’

Meghan Trainor is getting candid about the scary start her three-month-old son, Riley, had. The first-time mom revealed new details about her experience delivering her baby boy, who was born in February 2021, to TODAY. “It was one of those horror stories where he didn’t cry. He didn’t make noise when he came out,” she said. “I was like, ‘Why isn’t he crying? Then they told me he was having breathing issues. It was terrifying.” Meghan explained that her son was breech and born via c-section. He was quickly whisked off to the NICU for care after his birth, where he needed a feeding tube. Now, he is a healthy and joy filled baby! “He’s the smiliest, happiest baby,” she said.
