MrBeast Says He Was Invited On Titanic Submersible: ‘Kind of Scary That I Could Have Been on It’

MrBeast says he turned down an invitation to join the Titanic sub that tragically imploded. The YouTube star claimed on Twitter that he was invited earlier this month on OceanGate’s Titan submersible that imploded on its way down to see Titanic’s wreckage last week. “I was invited earlier this month to ride the titanic submarine, I said no. Kind of scary that I could have been on it,” MrBeast tweeted Sunday. Last Thursday OceanGate shared a statement obtained by NBC News that said they believed all passengers were presumed dead. Later that day, the U.S. Coast Guard confirmed that they discovered the tail cone, and debris, from the missing vessel near the bow of the Titanic on the seafloor.
