Naomi Osaka Began Seeing Therapist After Being Targeted By Heckler: ‘I Realize How Helpful It Is’
Naomi Osaka is opening up about the latest step in her mental health journey. The tennis star revealed during a Miami Open press conference on Wednesday that she “finally started talking to a therapist.” Her decision to seek support came after she was targeted by a heckler on the court at Indian Wells earlier this month – an incident that left her in tears. “I realize how helpful it is. I’m glad that I have people around me that told me to, like, go in that direction,” Naomi said of therapy.
