Offset & Jamie Lee Curtis Recreate Iconic 1988 James Brown Interview To Tease New Music

Offset is unexpectedly teaming up with Jamie Lee Curtis for a special announcement. In a video published on Monday, the rapper and “The Bear” actress recreate James Brown’s memorable 1988 CNN interview with Sonya Friedman to announce that he is releasing new music this Friday. Offset shared the clip on social media and wrote on Twitter, “Y’all ready for some new music???….JEALOUSY!!” The footage is a parody of the original interview, in which James appeared on the network after being arrested and released on bail for allegedly hitting his wife at the time, Adrienne Lois Rodriguez. According to Rolling Stone, the Migos rapper’s spoof comes after he deleted posts last month that suggested his wife, Cardi B, cheated on him. She reportedly denied the claims at the time and seems to be supporting his latest project, sharing the video to her Instagram story on Monday and writing, “Lmao I can’t wait.” The couple tied the knot in 2017 and have two children together.
