‘OITNB’s’ Kimiko Glenn Reveals Shocking Pay Accusations, Claims Actors ‘Couldn’t Afford Cabs To Set’

An “Orange is the New Black” star has gone viral for sharing what she claims is a look at the overseas royalties from her time on the show. Last week amid the SAG-AFTRA strike, Kimiko Glenn re-posted a TikTok video she made back in December 2020. It showed her opening what she claims is a foreign royalties check for the dozens of episodes she was on and being surprised it totaled to $27.30. Kimiko captioned the resurfaced clip, “why #sagaftra is striking.” Kimiko went on to claim that she and many of her castmates were not adequately compensated, saying, “We did not get paid very well. Ever. And when I say did not get paid very well, you would die. People were bartenders still. People had their second jobs still.”
